Crossoverlord Revelation Draft

Here's a page that never actually made it into The Crossoverlord. It's the original revelation of the Green Avenger's betrayal. Bits and pieces of this scene are uses elsewhere in the comic. A portion of this was recycled into a scene at the Armory, which was drawn my Abby Lehrke herself.

In this version, they're already at Neo Tartarus as the big reveal takes place. It skips the whole scene in Grin World with the tombstones and all that. The tombstone thing was added for reasons I'm not entirely certain. We didn't decide until much later to use them to shock Green Avenger back to her senses.

The original plan for Io was that she had escaped detection and was trailing the villains in an attempt to free the heroes. Later we decided to have her captured as well. In either case, Io would be instrumental in getting the heroes free and returning Green Avenger to the side of good.

I hope you can forgive the mess and the bad handwriting. Since we went a different direction with the story, I felt no obligation to clean it up.
