Dasien - Chapter 7, Page 16

Mr. Pressman is a character I never got to use that much. Originally, he was going to be a master of malapropisms, but I felt like I was waiting to deliver a joke for which I never truly had given myself an opening. It's really difficult to shoehorn that kind of stuff in.

Likewise, I never got to use Lionel the way I had intended. His shtick was that he was a self-professed "ladies man" whose ego turned women away, but again, there's no place to put that in this comic. So both of these characters got left in the dust.

I'm kind of shifting gears with this page, hopefully to get them back in. I sense that there's some opportunity here to have them play off of each other instead of having them be one-note gag characters. I'll have to make an effort to bring them into the story in the coming chapters.

But we'll burn that bridge when we get to it.
